Sunset from the Serra de Tramuntana over the Sea in Mallorca
This photograph looks across the Serra de Tramuntana in Mallorca at sunset, with successive mountain ridges fading into the distance above the Mediterranean.
The composition is structured by the overlapping silhouettes of the mountains and the brighter sky beyond them. Clouds near the horizon catch the remaining light and add depth without distracting from the shape of the landscape.
As fine art landscape photography, the image focuses on the scale and layered structure of the Tramuntana mountains at the end of the day. It suits interiors where Mediterranean landscapes, natural forms and restrained warm colour work well. The photograph is available as an art print through the linked product page.
